Willem joined the business in 2024 and has more than 30 years of relevant experience. He acts as a Senior Adviser to Vantage and a member of the Debt and Investment Committee. Willem is also a Managing Director at 3 Keys Capital Advisors and has various advisory board roles in the US and Latin America.

Prior to joining Vantage*, Willem was Head of Wholesale Banking Latin America and a member of the Management Team for ING Group in the Americas. Prior to that, he managed and established the Infrastructure Finance and Advisory Team in New York for more than 10 years. Prior to ING, Willem held several roles at ABN AMRO in Amsterdam, Mexico and New York.  He holds a Master of Science in Business & Engineering from the University of Twente in the Netherlands.
