We are happy to announce the hiring of three additional team members in New York further strengthening the US investment capabilities. The three new hires bring the US team to a total of 13 experienced professionals led by Jim Wiant, CEO, Partner and Portfolio Manager of Capital Four US. The US team has significant industry experience averaging more than 15 years.

Jordan Goldstein, Robert Horn, and Deborah N. Freire have joined our US investment team responsible for investing across credit strategies.

Commenting on the recent appointments, Jim Wiant stated: “We are very excited to add Jordan, Robert and Deborah to our investment team as we continue to successfully scale and grow our capabilities at Capital Four US.”

Jordan Goldstein joins from Black Diamond Capital Management, where he focused on performing, stressed and distressed loans. He previously held similar roles at Riverbirch Capital and Arrowgrass Capital Partners as an analyst focused on high yield bonds and leveraged loans. Jordan will join our coverage of business services, telecom and healthcare. He began his career in investment banking at Guggenheim Securities focused on restructuring advisory and has more than 8 years of industry experience.

Robert Horn joins from Farmstead Capital Management, where he focused on distressed and special situations opportunities across the capital structure. Previously, Robert spent 5 years in the CMBS business at Wells Fargo. At Capital Four, Robert will join our consumer and retail sectors coverage. Robert brings more than 7 years of experience in the industry as a research analyst.

Deborah N. Freire joins from Octagon Credit Investors where she was a research analyst covering building products, real estate services, telecommunication & cable, and hardware. Before Octagon, Deborah was an Associate Analyst at Moody’s Investors Services on the High-Yield research team analyzing issuers across sectors. Deborah will join our coverage of the software and technology sectors. Deborah brings more than 6 years of industry experience to the role.

Our US team manages $3 billion across credit strategies including CLOs, traditional mandates and opportunistic mandates for institutional investors.
