It is our pleasure to announce the hiring of Alex Slavtchev as a senior credit trader for the office in New York. The hire further strengthens the US investment capabilities and team of experienced professionals led by Jim Wiant, CEO, Partner and Portfolio Manager of Capital Four US. Capital Four’s US team members each have significant industry experience averaging more than 17 years.

Alex brings over 10 years of industry experience within credit trading. His most recent position was as Vice President at Crescent Capital Group LP, where he was a Leverage Loans Trader and responsible for executing and managing trading for a range of strategies including CLOs, credit opportunity funds and separately managed accounts, among others. Prior to Crescent, Alex previously worked in various roles in Leverage Loans and EM Derivatives at Barclays in New York. He graduated from Fordham University with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Psychology and holds an Advanced Certificate in Portfolio Management from New York University. Alex is fluent in English, Bulgarian, Polish and Czech.

The US investment team currently manages approximately $2 billion of Capital Four’s global assets including high yields, bank loans, CLOs, among other mandates.
